Koneko Gaming Krew

There are many gaming groups you can join, many aren’t very welcoming unless you follow rules to a T or have the same mentality as others. It’s an unfortunate part of this industry in general. Competitive and harsh to new comers of certain games or genres, like FPS (First Person Shooters) such as COD (Call of Duty) or Fortnite, some groups do provide a space for all to fell welcome. One such space is Koneko Gaming.

I found the group by chance through another group and haven’t looked back. The members are nice and welcoming. They scatter over the whole gaming spectrum as well. From the FPS to Pokemon Go and even the horror games that I dare not touch. The Admin (Modmin) team, which I am proud to say I became one of them after awhile, are awesome and caring towards the group and it’s members. Each does their job and still interacts with everyone as equals.

One benefit.. or well bonus to the group is the chances of surprises. Since joining we have had the awesome opportunity to do surprise giveaways and help a few members through tough times (not always a giveaway thing, just a quick message to make sure they are doing OK). We support all our members through hardship in any way possible and it is such a light in a dark landscape.

In hopes to further include our members, we are setting up a publication on Medium for members to do game reviews and share their thoughts/opinions as well as information of new games/systems/etc. in their own articles published under our brand.

With these articles, we want to give other gamers a chance to hear these opinions from a peers stand point rather than a major publication like Game Informer. This way it can come across somewhat more personal and easier to understand like a friend telling you the greatest stuff of the new game they just bought. We want to be on that level with our readers so it doesn’t feel superficial.
